We both have played ping pong so figured we had this challenge licked (or so we thought). We couldn't have been more wrong! A great bunch of people who played extremely well and, without appearing obvious, displayed very competitive streaks. We had a fantastic time and were worn out at the end of the session.
On the way home the Chevy V8 engine in the Mercury Coupe blew a radiator hose but luckily it was a five minute fix and Roy was on his way again.
Mary (Ruth' sister) came around for lunch and it was great to catch up with her. We also shared some time out all those years ago and I have my 'Grape Stomping' competition winning wine glasses to prove it!
We then went over to Paul & Alice's to have one last visit before we depart tomorrow. We enjoyed a great visit. I'm so lucky to be able to catch up with both of them again. We walked back home through the blueberry fields. Of course we didn't pinch any - well maybe a couple!
We laughed our heads off when Jim passed by taking Blaze for a walk...!!!
Paul finally got some time to take the V700 for a ride. He loved it (as if there would be any doubt). We finally introduced the V700 to Ellie, afterall, they will be sharing a container on the way back to Australia.
Then it was a matter of packing up the spare parts that came with the V700 and preparing an inventory ready for export. After dinner we all walked down the end of the road and I'm so glad we did. Not only did we get to absorb the farm environment again we got watch a magnificent sunset. Had we stayed inside we wouldn't have seen that.
A perfect way to end the day. Oh hang on, the berry pie and ice-cream that followed the walk was pretty good too.
